Member Benefits

The Minnesota Council for Quality is a member-based organization that offers individual and organization memberships. We currently have over 203 members representing over 107,000 employees throughout and beyond Minnesota (as of 12/20/05).

As a member, your contribution not only helps us execute our vision of assisting Minnesota organizations to improve their performance, but also entitles your organization – and all employees that fall under the organization’s membership – to specific benefits. Our goal is to provide value for your contribution – to provide a return on your membership investment.

Current Council memberships include the following benefits:

• Recognition of your support of the Council and a commitment to performance improvement with a certificate and letter.
• Public announcement of your membership support in the Council’s newsletter, in our website’s member directory, and in press releases distributed to local media.
• One Scholarship for an Evaluator in need of support for training, in your organization’s name (for Sponsoring members only).
• Access to Services
• Receipt of our monthly electronic newsletter, which offers announcements, improvement tips, and other helpful information.

• Complementary admission to Performance Improvement Network discussions (a $200 value per year per employee) – see http://www.councilforquality.org/performance.cfm .
• Discounted listing fees for the Consultant Referral Network (for consultants) – see http://www.councilforquality.org/vendor.cfm .
• A 16% discount to Evaluator training for all employees in your organization ($100 for new Evaluators and $50 for second-year).
• A 16% discount to all Council assessment services (for Supporting and Sponsoring members only; this discount ranges from $1300-2000 depending on organization size).

• A $50 discount to specific University of Minnesota Continuing Education courses.
• A $10 discount to all Minnesota Strategic Leadership Forum discussions (a $90 value per year per employee).
• A $50 discount to all Century College Continuing Education quality courses.
• A $50 discount to Minnesota Academic Excellence Foundation K-12 workshops.
• A 15% discount to all Inver Hills Community College Management Academy and other improvement-related courses.
• A 15% discount to quality/improvement courses at the Management Center , University of St. Thomas .
• A 10% discount to certain quality courses at Hennepin Technical College .
• A discount to all Rochester Area Quality Council meetings (amount varies)
• A 10% discount to all South Central College ( Faribault ) quality courses.
• A $10 discount to all MN OD Network meetings.
