Steven
D. Hagedorn, MD graduated from Mayo
Medical
School
in 1984 and the Mayo Family
Medicine Residency program in 1987. After three years in private
practice, he returned to the Mayo Family Medicine staff in 1990.
He is currently an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine. Dr. Hagedorn
was involved in several roles with Mayo’s clinical quality improvement
activities from 1992 through 2002 during which time he worked with
the Institute for Clinical Systems Integration, the Institute for
Healthcare Improvement and the McCall Foundation at tGroup Health
Puget Sound in various capacities. He was a Baldrige examiner in
2000 and 2001 and a Baldrige judge from 2004 through 2006. In 2003
he received a Doctor of Management degree from the University of
Hertfordshire School of Business where he studied for 4 years with
Professor Ralph Stacey in the Complexity and Management
Center
