Klint Willert has been recognized as both a leader and innovator in the area of K-12 education and organizational leadership. He has been teacher, a coach, a principal, a counselor, a consultant, and a school superintendent. His experiences as an educator have crossed over four states adding to his rich perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing schools today. As the superintendent of schools for the Marshall Public schools since 2004, Klint has been instrumental in the district adoption of the QCOMP alternative compensation model, he has successfully maintained oversight of construction to open the new Marshall High School, and has been leading the Marshall Public Schools through systemic continuous improvement utilizing the rigorous Malcolm Baldrige Model.
He is passionate about corporate participation in education saying, "Quality relationships and partnerships between public schools and business partners can be beneficial for all parties. The most successful partnerships involve contributions to the overall human experience – contributions that create opportunities that might not otherwise be available to the children of today who will soon be the leaders of tomorrow." |
